Mobile ICU Unit

Odulair Mobile Intensive Care (ICU) Units are U.S. healthcare code compliant, mobile diagnostic and treatment facilities.  Essentially, a mobile intensive care unit is a trauma center on wheels. Mobile ICU Units are designed to serve patient populations as free-standing, independent operating vehicles at a disaster location or as vehicles incorporated into an existing medical facility.  The Odulair Mobile Intensive Care Unit is on wheels, so it is effective for international and humanitarian medical missions, and can be transported to the scene of disaster quickly and easily via tractor, train, or ship.

Odulair's Mobile Intensive Care Unit is housed in a double-expandable 53' trailer (18-wheeler), which creates a 1,000 square foot, state-of-the-art surgical facility. The unit includes an entry/vertible, a diagnostic and treatment area, a nurse's station, a scrub area, a 17' X 22' operating room, clean and soiled utility rooms, medical gas tank storage, a janitor's closet, and a bathroom. Odulair Transportable Intensive Care Units house the same amenities within a 1,700 sq. ft. facility with a 32' X 60' base. Our Modular ICU Units can be any size or configuration you require.

All Odulair Medical Vehicles are designed to meet the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Guidelines for Healthcare Facilities, which form the basis for most U.S. State licensing guidelines. Odulair Units are U.S. healthcare code compliant, and meet JCAHO, Medicare and State standards for accreditation. Odulair Mobile ICU Units also meet requirments outlined by the American College of Surgeons, which allows hospitals to upgrade their trauma readiness status, thereby providing the hospital with additional governmental funding.
